A breath of fresh air in lingerie land in 2019

Sir Sebastian's designer blog is really taking off!

Much appreciated audience... What a relief to be able to have a professional chat with you again about lingerie, design and all those other little things that make life so beautiful! Oh, I'm so incredibly happy that I've managed to get my own stage here again. For a fashion oracle like me it's just not possible to keep all that knowledge, insight and fashion instinct inside, so I'm happy to share all my wisdom with you. I mean, sure, you can get clothes for dogs, but doggy lingerie doesn't exist yet as far as I know, so I have to share all these beauty tips and underwear know-how with you. I tragically have very little use for it myself, but such is the life of a poodle with more style, taste and schwung than is good for him....

We are taking off

We are off to a great start, dear people. A toast to a great year, in which our growing understanding of top lingerie ensures that we all show our brightest side.
Or perhaps our most advantageous side, because yes, I now work from the premises of the largest outlet in designer lingerie in the Netherlands and Belgium. I regularly drop in on the neighbors for a chat and some collegial consultation, because you know what they say: a good neighbor is better than a distant boss. I also like to spread my pearls of wisdom among the neighbors, but from the ladies next door I in turn also learn a thing or two. I really didn't know that there are so many beautiful things to get online for such competitive prices, but rest assured: this underwear blog king is now on top of it. A New Year's resolution: keep a sharp eye out for the biggest discounts - I'll keep you posted, I promise.

A poodle full of good intentions

And hey, while we're at it: did you, as critical but loyal readers, come up with any good intentions? And - have you already let go? Well, I'll tell you that I have thought of a few myself. And I should have, because I let myself go like crazy during the holidays... Time for a fresh start. First of all we are going to take it a little easier with the bubbles and cocktails, because relaxing with a glass of something is allowed, but it is bad for my figure and besides, I keep on walking myself all day long slobbering like a dried out greyhound. So let's put the brakes on for a while for Sir Sebastian, because I have big plans for the coming weeks. My final intention is as simple and logical as it is justified: to become the most famous lingerie influencer in the world, preferably this year. Red carpets, after parties, fashion shows, in this year nothing is safe for this bright poodle. Celebrities and stars, make sure you always wear your finest lingerie, because you never know where your finely honed sleuth will suddenly show his snout....

The world is at my feet

Fortunately, I already know exactly where I am going to start this brilliant career of mine. In January it's time for three of the most important lingerie events on the European mainland: Bodyfashion on home soil in Holland, LingeriePRO in Belgium and the Salon International de la Lingerie in the Cité de l'Amour, Paris... Oh, isn't it fantastique to be in this business? I mean, Salon International de la Lingerie: if you say that out loud to yourself three times you already get a little sultry inside, right? You can understand that I am already busy preparing myself, because everyone who is anyone in this world is going to show his or her face there. You can be sure that I will not only want to know the ins and outs of your stockings, but also of your bras and thongs. I'm going to present you with all the revolutionary news and trends that are so hot you don't even dare to touch them. Oh, dear readers, it's just going to be fabuleux in these first months of the new year, I can feel it in everything!

A wag for spring

Maybe I'm an optimist and we'll need another layer of thermo underwear later if King Winter makes himself feel good for a while, but if it were up to me we'd just tripple into spring wagging our tails. I suggest that we don't worry about Blue Monday or winter blues at all now that the holidays are over. Just hop on, from the warmth under the Christmas tree to the tickle of the first early spring, what do you say? Sir Sebastian is certainly ready for it. Spring fever fits the far too early blossoms that I already encounter on my walks, but above all it fits the most beautiful, breathtaking lingerie that I will encounter at the fairs. I know that sometimes I come across as a raging whirlwind rushing through the fashion world like a spring storm, but for once it might be more fitting to

. I'm so looking forward to it that I can just feel it all fizzing and bubbling inside, like a good glass of cool champagne. Hmmm. Champagne... Actually, after this whole story, Sir Sebastian did get a little bit thirsty. Maybe before I pack my suitcase I'll just... Or perhaps... Oh, you know what? I'll just work extra hard on my second resolution tomorrow, because it already looks like this year is going to be way too hot and bubbly to put the bubbly aside completely!
