Step 1: measure bottom width
First of all it is important to measure your bottom width. You can do this by measuring your size with a measuring tape just below your breasts.

Take a relaxed position without holding your breath. Tighten the measuring tape around your body.

Make sure that the measuring tape on the front and back is at the same height. The size you measure in this way is the numerical part for your bra size (for example 80).

You can then look up your bra size in the table.

Step 2: measure upper width
The next step is to measure your upper width. You can do this by measuring the full size of your breast with a tape measure at the height of your nipples.

Make sure that the measuring tape remains neatly horizontal. Calculate the difference between your top and bottom width in centimeters.

Based on this number you can find your bra size in the table.

EXAMPLE:
Step 1: your bottom width is 78 cm
Step 2: your upper width is 95 cm

What is your bra size? The difference is 17 cm, so your European bra size is 80C
