Sir Sebastian finally back from vacation!

Yeah! Yeah! Finally, dear friends and girlfriends... After a year of hard work in my function as a lingerie guru, your bloody Sir Sebastian was ready for a well-deserved holiday! Perhaps you were already wondering what had become of your always reliable guide and infallible compass in the land of fashion under fashion, but don't worry: I was just out and about.

Chasing my fashionable

So where did my trip take me, I hear you guys? What exotic places have I visited? What new vistas have enriched my already so wide horizon? Well, dear followers, I'll tell you in scents and colours. I can give you a hint by revealing that my field was an inspiration for my trip - just as the lingerie world is my muse in everything I do.

Lingerie, corn oui!

I'm sure you'll understand: I let my heart guide me, and that fashionable little tag of mine, that's right for La Douce France. Fashionable, elegant, chic... all French words, just like the word lingerie itself, natural. If you like really beautiful underwear, you can't ignore France, so that's where I pointed my arrows. With a bit of sun, of course, and some palm trees to drink my cocktails under, s'il vous plaît! I soon ended up on the coasts of the Méditerranée, so three weeks ago this young dog left for Schiphol, suitcase packed, for a direct flight to the Côte d'Azur. My holiday adventure could begin!

Mile High Club

I have to admit that I didn't manage to cover a hundred kilometres without the lingerie questions flying me to my throat again. Was it occupational deformity? Was it perhaps the champagne that was so richly poured to me in business class? I don't know exactly, but I soon noticed that I couldn't take my eyes off the very nicest stewardesses who kept parading up and down the aisle. Funny, one of those uniforms. I appreciate that anyway, but I started to wonder where a uniform like that actually ends... I put it to the test. When the cutest lady in question was about to walk past my chair, I secretly let myself slip out of the seat, supposedly to get some air. Oh - how clumsy of me! Do I just walk under the best lady by accident. Well, while we were there I'd better take a mischievous look for the sake of science. Thorough research requires personal sacrifice, doesn't it? The experiment hasn't disappointed me, I can charm you. No uniform, oh no! A beautiful lace hipster, not at all in cool KLM blue, but in a daring bright red fabric. I'll be honest: when the stewardess found out what I was doing, her cheeks soon coloured beautifully at her lingerie choice. I gave her a mischievous wink and pretended nothing was wrong. Of course, I didn't want to embarrass her, but I'll confess that I suddenly had an enormous desire to become a member of the famous Mile High Club on the spot...

Bye! Sir Sebastian, in your basket you! I ordered a soda between the bubbles, because holiday love was already starting to get to my head. Fortunately, the journey continued without any incidents worth mentioning, so a few hours later a sob hot French taxi took me to a sun-drenched beach on the Mediterranean Sea. I had arrived at my destination, so I immediately decided to make a good living. I started an extensive analysis of French swimwear à la maintenant... of today, in other words.

Beach observations

Lovely! Blessed! Magnifique! What a stylish people it is there in the Cannes area! Especially the ladies really make it a sport to be the most beautiful mademoiselle of the beach. Brown legs, neat bikini lines and - don't ask me how it's possible - perfectly groomed coiffures, even after splashing three times. Chapeau! That means 'hat' by the way, and speaking of which: phenomenal to see how people in France still understand the art of a graceful sun hat. Aux sérieux, ladies, my tip this summer: next year, invest in a nice casual chic straw hat for on the beach or by the pool, because they make your beach look so great. A true addition to your latest Sapph Beach set or your exquisite designer bikini. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, we can learn a lot about fashion from our charming southern neighbors ...

Holiday locals

Another fantastic accessory for your beach life: a sarong, such a tasty wrapper that falls loose in the happiest colours. Great how you can create a royal look with such a simple piece of fabric for that inevitable terrace moment after your dive in the azure blue water. I say don't go on holiday without it: immediately pick a nice one to go with that new bathing suit when you buy one. The last beach tip is perhaps even more important, and in any case at least as practical: a nice, stylish beach bag! Preferably a nice big one made of braided material, because that gives such a nice airy and summery holiday look. You can immediately take all those handy things and accessories with you for your beach adventures. Did I say accessories? Okay, just one more: think of a nice pair of sunglasses when you go baking, bobbing and strolling. A stylish pair of sunglasses doesn't have to be an expensive brand item - you'll be on them in no time at all. No, you'd rather save by buying a nice cheap one in a style you wouldn't normally dare: it's holidays! It's a great way to save on your holiday budget, too. That will come up when the wines and other delicious drinks start to flow in the evening!

Toujours l'amour

Sacre bleu! Look at me... I'm a real speech waterfall again. I'm not halfway through my holiday story yet and I've already used up all my blog space for today. And I was just about to tell you about my amorous entanglements there on the south coast of France... Holiday lovers, what a party! You know what? I'm just gonna keep it exciting... I'm gonna finish up here, quietly unpack my suitcase and come back in my next post on the balmy summer nights that my vacation had in store for me... Nice cliffhanger, huh?
