What you really didn't know about breasts

Wat je echt niet wist over borsten
dec 29, 2016

There's a lot of things you didn't know about your breasts. I list these funny, embarrassing and bizarre facts with love for you:
Breasts are great but a little weird at the same time. They come in all shapes and sizes and represent the female gender like no other. . . Boobies, your facade, cauliflowers and so on. Of course you thought you already knew everything about these two 'girlfriends'. But nothing could be further from the truth.

1. The format

When you walk into a lingerie store, you will not only be overwhelmed by all the bra designs, but also by all the different bra sizes. That says it all, because breasts come in all shapes and sizes. From the moment they're still small bumps to the moment your breasts have reached their 'mature' size, they can be up to 5 years old.

2. The shape

The purpose of breasts, of course, is to provide babies with milk. Maybe that's far away for you, past tense or something you just never think about. For that purpose, breast tissue is mainly composed of fat, milk cable ducts, lobes, lymphatic tissue and breeding vessels. This all changes as you grow, which also changes the shape of your breasts. Another fact about the shape is that your breasts almost never have the same shape. And did you know that sleeping on your stomach affects the shape of your breasts Oops...

3. The nipple

There we go again. Breastfeeding. If you breastfeed, the nipple is of course very important, but if you don't breastfeed, it's a bit useless. Or isn't it? If you're cold or sexually aroused, you'll notice that the nipple tissue will feel a bit different. Your nipple changes shape and becomes a bit harder than normal. One has more sensitive nipples than the other. Do you sometimes have sensitive nipples or breasts? Then it's always a good idea to see a doctor.

4. The areola

Often people think that the nipple is that whole 'round' on your breast but that's not true. Only the tip is the nipple, the round around it is the areola. Just like breasts, the areola exists in countless different shapes, sizes and colors. 8 different types of nipples exist. You have the flat, normal, the inside out, the swollen and so on. And six percent of the world's population has a third nipple Yes, you probably know someone with a third nipple as well (without knowing it) The tiny bumps on your nipple have a name called Montgomery glands and produce an oil that protects, cleans and lubricates the nipple during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Each nipple has 15 to 20 openings from which milk can come out. These are called lobes and each opening has 20 to 30 milk glands.
Nipplegasms (orgasms through the nipple) are really one thing The substance oxytocin is released when the nipple is stimulated. This is the same substance that causes vaginal orgasms.

5. Difference

Your left breast is probably larger than your right breast This is common in many women and is quite normal. The size of your breasts changes every month. During your menstrual cycle, hormones make your breasts bigger and smaller.

6. Nipple hair

This is normally nothing to worry about. Some women leave their hairs on, others pluck them away. Only if you get a lot of chest hair at one time and also in other places (for example your face) then something could be wrong with your hormones. If that's the case, it's smart to go to the doctor. Do you have this? You're not alone. Don't do anything!

The size

The biggest bra size in the world is 102ZZ. Are you happy you don't have to walk around with that? And finally, it's nice to know that your breasts are happiest at the end of the day when you take your bra off. go.
