A Blue Monday with a Positive Pantherprint

Hello there, everybody! Here's a cheerful, cross-eyed and mischievous contribution from your bloody press, Sir Sebastian, as promised. I announced it a little while ago: I'm throwing in the beech this year, starting with a snazzy positive middle finger towards today's international theme, Blue Monday. No, I know that poodles technically don't have middle fingers, but Bad Boy Bastian doesn't care about that either. As a four-legged friend I have very different qualities, and anyone who has ever let out a poodle knows that we can learn our own things if we want to make our message clear...

Tinkerers

You read it in my last blog post. I'm done - no good writing for this guy this year. In the wonderful world of online influencers, there's just no place for dull stories, so I'm not gonna take another leaf out of my mouth. So Blue Monday, the worst Blue Monday of the year according to the tinkerers who call themselves our online opinion makers. Because let's be honest: this miserable calendar low has of course just been made up by a blogger with too little attention. Oh, please. If we want to feel a bit depressed, surely we can take a day for that ourselves?

A positive counteraction

So this hype hasn't been spent on me. I've been brooding on a counteraction, and rest assured, I've come up with one. This fierce little dog is going to put all those sipy gloomers sobbing in the corner with a campaign of his own. World, get ready for Sir Sebastian's Positive Pantherprint Week! I thought the best way to ruin Blue Monday would be to sell both the blue colour and the chosen day a firm kick in the lingerie, so here's the plan: we're all going to spend a whole week just hopping around in as many tasty colourful leopard prints as possible - let's go ladies and gentlemen!

Capes that week!

Blue Monday, Blue Monday... What Monday? I say let's hijack the whole week! Blue? Ugh, so boring, so cool and so gloomy... A nice print does wonders if you want to cheer things up a bit, and if you're as deep into the world of designer lingerie as I am, then a nice tantalizing panther print is soon obvious. A tiger print is allowed too, or if necessary some cow stains or a giraffe pattern. Take a look at what you've got in your closet, or grab something beautiful together at Dutch Designers Outlet if you feel like it. Buying something cheerful is always a good way to feel happier right away, so I say go for it. The most important part of this already sympathetic action is that we do it together with a nice naughty smile on our face.

Flash with fashion

I really think this could be really big, guys. If we all try to do our bit we will have snowed down that grumpy Monday with dots, stripes and speckles in the happiest colour combinations. Boots on, long coat and a sloppy sweater on top and we're ready to hit the streets. As soon as you see somebody with a grumpy face you pull open your coat or your sweater up and tadaa! I say flash with fashion those crybabies - happy panther week all! This is going to make such an impact that it can never be long before we all go viral together. This is going to look really fresh and fruity on the news, the Instagram Stories and all the major YouTube channels you can think of.

Footprint versus leopard print

Nice idea, isn't it, for a simple guy with a penchant for good lingerie? I even thought maybe we could use some crowdfunding action to save endangered tigers or pathetic cheetahs, because in the wild things don't go so well with the tiger and panther prints. In the end, those pussy cat animals have been the inspiration for our underwear, so I think it's time to give something back. Then our middle finger to the pessimists immediately becomes a nice constructive action. We all know that the world of fashion isn't always good when it comes to the environment, but it's a good way to make an impact on the climate if we're smart about it. I myself was thinking of something like 'reduce your footprint with a panther print' or something like that. Do you feel it too? It already makes me very happy - fuck Blue Monday, dear readers: the revolution starts with us!

Small remark

Okay, let me just make a little comment on this Positive Pantherprint week. I've just been flashing around with my brand-new Muchachomalo jungle print and I have to admit: it's chilly outside. I did my best to grin as wide as I could at every sikkepit I surprised with a glance at my glitzy printboxer, but after about five, I felt, how shall I put it, the tail almost disappear between my legs. Maybe we should just stick to the fake fur coats and leggings with panther prints for this Blue Monday, at least in the street. Just for safety's sake, huh? Save the Positieve Printjesweek for somewhere at the end of May or the beginning of August, before we're all in bed with a double pneumonia, because of course that doesn't cheer anyone up. Hmm, or bombing Prinsjesdag until Printjesdag? I can throw a ball at the Orangemen - we've got a colour theme right away!

Flash sensible!

I know it's well made. Let's just confine ourselves to our own life partners on this rotten Monday! We'll just flash them tonight in the bedroom, with the heating on stand Ibiza, isn't that a good alternative? Cheering up the world can also just start small, right? I may want to start a naughty year with my sympathetic print campaign, but of course I have to think about your health, or else mine. That laughs so easily, and that's just how we all keep it up for longer. Shall we just take it easy, then? It's a deal!
