What are samples?

Samples are special, unique items that lingerie brands use during the development and presentation of new collections. They are made for trade fairs, shows, retailers and photoshoots, and not for regular sale.

That is why it is good to take a number of important points into account beforehand:

1. Unique and one of a kind
   A sample is often the first model of a design. Usually only one size and one version is available, often in a standard size such as 75B, 75D or briefs in size M.
2. Possible differences
   Samples are made during the design phase and may differ from the final product. Think of colour differences, finishing or differences in material use. If you combine a sample with a regular item, those differences may be visible.
3. No labels and different sizing
   Samples usually do not have washing, composition or size labels. We use the size indicated by the supplier on the packaging. Because samples often go through several fitting sessions before the final fit is determined, the size may differ from later production models.
4. No quality control and warranty
   Samples are not produced for sale and therefore do not go through standard quality control. They fall outside the manufacturer’s warranty. Quality, fit and sizing may therefore differ from items from the regular collection.

In summary

A lingerie sample is a unique piece that you will not easily find anywhere else. Please keep in mind that size, fit and finish may differ and that no warranty applies. You therefore buy samples at your own risk and they cannot be returned free of charge if the item is not to your liking.
