Did you receive your new favourite lingerie from DDO by post? Then you can almost start enjoying it! Because before you show your new acquisition to your partner, it's a good idea to check whether the bra fits properly. Your bra size will change a number of times during your life and every bra is different. And if your bra doesn't fit properly? No problem! At DDO, you can return the bras within 14 days of ordering them, provided they are unused and undamaged.

Check in 8 simple steps if you have the right bra size:

Step 1

First of all, put on the bra. Make sure your breasts fall into the bra as it were. This can easily be done by bending over and shaking slightly. In this way, your breasts will automatically find the right place.

Step 2

Then check the back panel when you are wearing the bra. The back panel is responsible for most of the support of your bra and is therefore very important! The back piece should be horizontal on your back and not higher than the brackets at the top.

Step 3

Wear your bra on the last hook (i.e. the largest possible circumference). Then check whether your bra is tight enough. Is this not the case? Then you will need a smaller circumference size. Because by wearing your bra regularly, the back section of the bra stretches so that the circumference becomes larger. At that point you can switch to a tighter hook. This is how you can enjoy your bra for the longest time!

Step 4

Tighten the shoulder straps until your bra fits perfectly. Do this while the bra is on. This way you can see the effect right away. Do you think it's a difficult job? Then ask your partner or a friend to help you. Also bear in mind that no woman has two identical breasts, so the shoulder straps probably both need to be adjusted differently.

Step 5

Now check the middle piece of your bra. This is between your breasts. The middle piece should rest flat on your skin. When this middle piece floats between your breasts, the size is not right.

Step 6

Make sure the braces are secure. If they sting somewhere or cause an unpleasant feeling, the size is not right.

Step 7

Finally, check the transition between the cups and your breasts themselves. This transition should be gradual and unobtrusive. When your breast bulges over the fabric, the size is not right or the straps are too tight.

Step 8

When you have gone through all the steps and your bra scores well on all points, you will have a good bra and the perfect bra size. Enjoy your new acquisition!
